Res-3G helmet apparatus with LED lamp (helmet inkl. regulator)
- ReS-3G helmet apparatus set contains a ReS-3 type sand blasting helmet with LED lamp and a air flow regulator.
The ReS-3 helmet has a special screen. It is dedicated to especially difficult sand blasting and shot blasting conditions due to the works and to the high intensity of abrasive molecules which are bounced off the surface (the glass becomes tarnished quickly), it is necessary to change the external glass panes without stopping work, e.g. in holds on ships, in containers. Opening the visor to replace the pane or the steel grid does not cause the helmet to decompress. The internal shield made from polycarbonate is set in a molded expanding rubber washer. The visor is closed in a frame made form aluminum compound which is fixed to the body of the helmet on hinges. The light and highly durable helmet shell is protected by a polyurethane layer, which greatly extends the helmet’s lifespan and additionally reduces the noise present during blasting works. The helmet is equipped with a muffler which reduces the flow of compressed breathing air and an in-built system for reducing noises from the outside (earmuffs).
The helmets and apparatus marked as O/H have in-build noise reducing earmuffs. Each helmet is equipped with an indicator showing the breathing air flow.
Helmets and apparatus marked as G are dedicated for shot blasting.
The apparatus also includes a breathing air flow regulator and apron.
The apparatus RES-3G/RESG/OH marked as LM1 includes a LED lamp:
Technical specifications:
̊ Light source: 1 x LED Cree XM-L2 emitter, 13° lens
̊ Brightness: approx. 500 lm
̊ LED life: approx. 20 000 h
̊ Power supply: 3.7 V DC
̊ Battery pack capacity: 6000 mAh = approx. 6 h of continuous operation
̊ Material: Aluminium + plastic + rubber
Intended use:
The ReS-3 LeD lamp is designed for use during abrasive blasting in chambers and outdoors. It lights up the
working area for better working comfort and service quality. It reduces abrasive, compressed air and
utility consumption for better and faster service. It is integrated with the safety helmet. The light source is
located above the visor, and the battery pack is placed in a pocket sewn into the safety apron so that the weight
of the battery rests on the worker's body. The LED technology used in the lamp considerably extends the life of
the light source and improves its resistance to shocks and impacts.
